Personality:

The twins are the absolute polar opposite of one another, but there are times where their personalities can completely flip-flop. They are both quite protective of each other and prefer to stay close to another another, than apart.

Revy is the devil twin. She is harsh and cruel, not really having a care in the world if her words hurt others, unless of course it is her sister. It is known that she has a sailor's mouth, not that she really cares. She is hot-headed and has a tendency to rush right into things without really thinking.

Leti is the angel twin. She is a sweet and innocent girl, who cares about everybody even if they are the enemy. She is kind and compassionate which usually results in many thinking that they can take advantage of her. While she is sweet and innocent, she is quite the strategist, managing to devise foolproof plans within seconds if it comes to that.

Brief Biography:

The Winters' twins were born into a rather large family, being the babies of six children. Their four older siblings were all four or more years older than them. Their mother, Kendall, was a heart surgeon at the nearby hospital. Their father, Matthew, was a professor at the local college. Their siblings; Cathryn (aged 24 and married), Alexander (aged 21), Kyle (aged 15), and Renee (aged 6), the ages being the ages they were when the twins were born.

Growing up things did change as time went by. Cathryn ended up moving out shortly after the twins had turned three years old, prior to that Alexander had left to go attend college in another state. One the eve of Kyle's eighteenth birthday be enrolled in the army and left to go attend basics. And sadly Renee was killed at the age of nine when she was hit by a drunk driver while she was walking the few blocks home from school.

During the war, their brother Kyle was killed after he and his squad walked into an ambush.

Now, the twins are sixteen years old and the world has fallen into a period of terror. The war that had been going on had taken its toll on everybody and everything. The planet had become a desolate wasteland, covered in radiation that either killed a person....or mutated a person. The twins were a bit on the lucky side....they weren't killed by the radiation, although it affected them both differently. But despite that they have stuck together, knowing that they would need to work together if they wanted to survive.

Niko's personality by far depends on who he is around. If he is around people that he actually cares about then he is a laid-back, yet protective young man. He'll joke around, laugh, and just sit there and talk with these people that he cares about. It is as if he is a completely different person. When he is around people that he doesn't know or really doesn't care for....he turns into a rather apathetic male to the point that he wouldn't care if these people just dropped over dead.
Brief Bio:

Niko grew up into a rather broken home. His father had left when he was younger and his mother spent most of her days and nights doing drugs and drinking. When he was eight he was taken away from his mother after his aunt came to visit on a day where his mother had fallen into her drunken rage, taking it out on the poor boy. So after that day he went to live with his aunt, who managed to get all parental rights that his mother had taken away, at least until the day that she sobered up and dropped all that stuff from her life. That never happened, even as Niko got older. When he was sixteen it was discovered that he had a younger sibling, a sweet little girl named Alisha, and at the time she would have been three years old. Poor child was subjected to the same life he had been, at least for a short time. Her father had gone away in the army shortly after she was born, but was being deployed back home after an injury. This is when he saw everything that was happening. Needless to say Niko's mother straightened up quick.

Now, Niko has no idea what has happened to his family. He has no idea if they dead or alive, if they are mutants, or anything else for that matter. He is secretly hoping that he will find them, well at least his sister, alive and well.
Other:

Has enhanced seemingly inhumane strength, being able to lift up to four times his own weight with ease. That is the limit now anyways, who knows if that will grow as time goes by.

Briannah is a very strong and independent girl, usually being the one to be a team leader. While you think someone like this would be serious, organized, and neat she is the furthest from it. Briannah is very messy, sarcastic, stubborn, and all of the things that don't make up a good leader but she manages to pull people together in times of trouble.

Brief Bio:

Briannah grew up arguing with her older brother for everything, trying to win. Briannah had grown up the tomboy in a home with only one father, making tension and trouble sometimes and laughs others. Briannah was very young when she'd had to get her first job to help her father with the bills, Jonathan had, had to get a job as well. In fact it was Jonathan who'd helped her get the job where he'd been at a green house working with plants. They'd both been just living pay check to pay check when the war came about. Briannah and Jonathan had fought very hard to stay together with their father throughout the whole thing but their father had ended up dying in a tragic radiation incident, leaving Briannah mutated, Jonathan fine, and their father dead. Briannah had noticed during their grieving and trying hard to continue to move on that she had received heightened senses from the radiation, being able to hear, see, touch, and taste better than she ever had before, even having a bit more strength behind her but she'd never shown any of it to her brother in fear that he would reject her.

He tends to shut himself off to people but if he's close to you he's the most loyal person you'll ever meet.

Brief Bio:

Brandon grew up with a very strict military Christian mother who hadn't given him much slack to make mistakes. Brandon grew up doing everything by the book, going to basic training, getting the best grades, getting a good job, he'd done it all. When the war had come Brandon had done everything to protect his community and those around him but it had all become too much when his entire neighborhood was bombed, leaving everyone dead but him. He'd been stricken by the radiation, wondering around very sick. He'd figured he was going to die but had been surprised when it'd only appeared his skin was burning and then healing. Brandon had gained the ability of accelerated healing from the radiation and had managed to survive the radiation poisoning barely, leaving parts of his skin chapped looking and burnt.

The stone had crumbled under Briannah's feet as she trudged through the remains of what use to be the big and beautiful New York, New York. It had felt so weird to think about how it had been once so active as she'd looked over the deteriorated buildings, the smell of trash and gun smoke had filled the air. Briannah had looked back to her brother who had been struggling over the same rubble she had. "We've been walking for a while now. I think it's time to set up camp somewhere" Was all Jonathan had said but he knew how torn the both of them were. New York was a place their father use to bring them for the day when they'd managed enough money. They would just walk around, enjoy the sites, and eventually go back home but there were no sites to see and there was no home anymore. "Yeah, you're right" Was all Briannah had said, adjusting the bag on her back as she'd scanned the place for somewhere to camp. The buildings had mainly been torn down, glass being a worry along with many other things when it came to deciding where they would rest. It had almost been torture for Briannah to be in cities like this since her senses had been heightened, being able to see, smell, and even feel more of the damage around her than even her brother could. "Over there" Briannah had then decided, pointing over to a small crumbled building that had looked like it had maybe once been a museum of some kind. It was the only place she'd saw so far that had, had a pretty cleared ground. At least enough where they could clear it. Jonathan had easily looked over, rubbing the lenses of his glasses. "Looks good enough to me" He'd said as he'd pulled the bag off of his own back, checking the contents. "We still have the gun, limited ammo though but we have a lot of food. Our hope is that we find a group of some sort... I don't know. We need more people than just us" Jonathan said, looking at her pleadingly. "Yeah, because more people was so much of a help." Briannah had said as she'd begun walking again. "We only need each other, we'll be fine" Briannah had said, nose in the air as she'd continued walking, her brother trailing behind. "Look, I know you're still sore over what happened to dad but there's nothing we could-" "Stop." And the conversation had once again ended there as they'd just continued walking in a horrible, awkward silence.

Boots had lost their step among the rubble again as Brandon had once again tripped over himself, wiping his eyes of the sleep or lack there of. Brandon was in charge of patrol, gathering food, nearly too much for just a couple people and it had been getting to him. It hadn't been the lack of sleep or the hard work he'd easily dealt with before, which had made him an easy candidate for most of the work he'd done for the group, it'd been the missing the way things had use to be. The early mornings waking up to eggs, toast, and orange juice. The parents, the food, the sleep, the memories. They'd haunted Brandon in what little sleep he'd managed to get. Brandon had then shook himself back awake as he'd easily picked himself back up, rummaging through an old building in the city once again, putting away anything in his bag he thought might come in handy especially food. Everyone in the group had been on their own at this point, knowing exactly where to meet back up. Brandon had been finding little to nothing today though it hadn't been strange. This past week it'd seemed no one had been able to present any new findings and admittedly they were all getting pretty hungry. Brandon had only found two cans so far, chicken soup and beans. 'It was better than nothing' was all that he'd been reminding himself as he'd began to walk back to their meeting place, needing to get himself some sleep before he'd passed out completely.

By the time that Brandon got back to camp from his patrolling, one of the two dark haired females that was apart of the group was awake and just gazing about. For the last few weeks they hadn't found much of anything, and it was evident that the others were getting quite hungry.
"Revy... everything okay?" came the sleepy voice of another female, which had the dark haired woman looking down at the woman asleep beside her. Her own twin sister, Leti. This had her giving a soft smile before she spoke in a low voice, "Everything is okay. Go back to sleep sweetie. I'm just keeping an eye out for Brandon to make sure he gets back safe." This had the other female giving a small nod before she rolled back over and closed her eyes going back to sleep. It wasn't long after this happened, that Revy was getting to her feet to leave their meeting place to see if she could see any sign of Brandon.
It was hard to think that at one point in time, this place had been booming. Tourists, buildings, stores, everything. Now it was a desolate wasteland. And there was no way that anybody could get back what they had once had. Earth was dying, and it was only a matter of time before everybody just ceased to exist. A sad reality it seemed. All she knew was that whenever Brandon got back she was going to make the poor guy get some sleep, whether he liked it or not.

((I'm thinking Niko finds the siblings ))

Brandon's boots had made their way over the stones until he'd finally found the building they'd been hiding out in. It must've been an old condo, a strong one because it'd managed to stay together for the most part. It still had it's living room and even three of its walls. It had been a climb but it was better than being on the ground where the thugs and more violent gangs would search out for them. He'd finally made his way up, bruises and scratches as always as he'd saw the girls. He'd quickly looked around for Nikolus. "Hey, Do you know if Niko got back? I know we went around the same time" Brandon had said, wanting to get off of the topic of the bad find he'd had to report. It had felt awful bringing home only two cans but it was lucky compared to their week. He'd quickly pulled the two cans out and had presented them. "I couldn't find anything! My usual spot was empty. I guess I emptied it last week" Brandon had said, thinking that he'd had more food then they'd had. Brandon had then rubbed his eyes again as he felt his whole body thrown into a yawn. "Someone has to go out and look for him. I'll go. I'll bring the gun" Brandon had said but knew he didn't have to go immediately. It had still been light out and they'd only had to worry when it'd gotten darker. "But maybe I'll take a nap first because I'm dying" Brandon had finally complained as he'd then sat down on his sleeping bag as he'd slowly felt the sleep getting to him, trying to resist closing his eyes.

Briannah and Jonathan had finally gotten to the lower down cleared out building, laying down sleeping bags. "I mean.. What if we find people? What if we find a functioning group?" Jonathan had asked, Briannah only rolling her eyes as she'd noticed he wasn't going to let it go. "There are gangs out there Bri and I'm sorry but we can't just keep surviving on whatever ammo and food we find. We need others, we need people. I need human interaction" Jonathan had almost begged. Briannah had only sighed, she knew she was being tough but tough was all she'd had left. She knew how desperate he was to trust someone else again while Briannah had fully believed they were fine on their own. "Ok" Was all she'd said, Jonathan lighting up. "I'll take that as a yes. I know if I push at it anymore it'll just become a no" Jonathan had said, proudly. He'd hated pestering her but he truly believed he'd known what was best for them and had for once wanted to make the right decision for them. "If you can find some group that isn't just a violent gang looking to take over the world.. I'll be ok" Was all Briannah had confirmed as she'd only laughed at him to continue to set up camp.

Revy's attention turned towards the noise that she heard, although the female visibly relaxed when she saw that it was only Brandon. This had her going back to her spot next to Leti before she gave a shake of her head, "Nah he hasn't come back yet. Oh Leti made a find herself." With that she gestured towards the one of the walls of the condo, although obviously gesturing to outside. Outside there was the body of a looter that Leti had spotted earlier, although naturally her as the pacifist didn't do anything. Instead she just told Revy about it. "Go ahead and get some sleep." she spoke before looking at Leti who was rousing, rubbing her eyes and sitting up sleepily.

"Oh Brandon is back. My turn to watch?" Leti spoke sleepily although Revy gave a small shrug before telling her to go back to sleep, that she would stay up and watch. After all for some reason at that point in time she was wide awake. Perhaps more awake than she should have been.

Meanwhile, the fourth member of the group had left the same time as the other male although had yet to return. Perhaps because he had traveled a farther distance than what Brandon had. And he had actually found some stuff, granted it hadn't been easy whatsoever. Especially since he had run into a few gangs. Although unlike Brandon he hadn't been looking for food, instead he had been looking for other supplies. Weapons, medical stuff, and all of that stuff. As Niko was heading away from his current location he spotted two figures walking in the distance, which had him a bit curious. Were they apart of a gang? Although for some reason he doubted that, and if that is the case then they were in a dangerous area. A sigh escaped his lips before he jogged up towards them, making sure that he kept his distance. "Hey. You guys shouldn't stay here." he called out when he was close enough so that his voice didn't carry much. The particular gang that ruled over the territory they were in....weren't too keen on newcomers. Actually if you didn't pass their tests they killed you. "You need a gang to join yourself. If you come with me I'll introduce you to my group." Brandon and Leti would probably take to them right away...Revy on the other hand well that would take a bit more time.

Brandon had only nodded, knowing that Niko wouldn't have been back until he'd found something. Brandon had been much too tired for that and if a gang member were to approach him he'd have been too easy of a target to take on. He'd only briefly looked at the body before nodding. "Good job, I hope he had something on him like.. ammo or food or something" Brandon had said, taking pauses to yawn throughout his sentences before he'd nodded, laying down on his sleeping bag. "Wake me up in a few hours when it gets dark. I'll start looking for Niko if he hasn't come back by then" Brandon had told them before his eyelids had closed, launching him into a hopefully peaceful sleep.

Briannah had heard Niko much before he'd arrived, already having grabbed her gun and pointed towards where she'd heard the footsteps. Jonathan had only been wondering what she was doing when a man had appeared from what seemed out of no where. That's when he'd began to tell them they shouldn't be here, Jonathan looking to Briannah only to see that she'd still be on her defense. "I don't know, I've survived without a gang. How bad is it around here?" Briannah had asked, lowering her gun a bit but not by much. "How do I know you're not one of the bad guys?" Briannah had asked. It was clear she'd only been worried for her brothers safety as well as her own. Jonathan had ignored her, looking to Niko. "My name is Jonathan, the one holding the gun is my sister Briannah... We've been through some rough stuff, she's just a bit..nervous" Jonathan had tried to explain. Briannah had rolled her eyes at her brother trying to explain her own actions. "How do I know that he's not one of the bad people? Randomly shooting whoever they see fit" Briannah asked Jonathan who'd only continued with his speech. "We have water, food, limited ammo but we're scrappy. We could be of use. We just need protection... People. Obviously we would all share the food and supplies and we'd help out but what do you say" Jonathan had said, meaning to make a deal. Supplies for shelter. Briannah had only looked to see a reaction from Niko.

"Go ahead and go to sleep, I'll keep watch. I can go search for Niko as well if needed." Revy spoke after a moment in time, leaning back where she was sitting. Hell she would probably be better off than Brandon would he decide to leave, especially with how exhausted he was. At least she had gotten some sleep and was at full energy at that point in time.

Niko put up his hands in self defense when he saw the gun being pointed towards him which had him just halting in his walking. After that point in time he just let them talk, let her question how they knew he wasn't a bad guy. Listened to the male try and defend her actions, then trying to make a deal. With that he looked towards the male, who seemed more willing to talk and compromise. "The gang that lives here likes to go about killing anybody and everybody they see, whenever the want. I use to run with them, until I decided to walk away. Yes we would share everything, and we would work together. I have three others that are waiting for me back at our camp."

Briannah had looked Niko over, thinking over what he'd said. She wasn't sure what that had implied about the kind of person he was but right now all she'd been worried about was keeping her brother and herself safe and unfortunately that meant getting where safer people were. She had then finally put her gun away in her back pocket as she'd finally calmed herself down. "Look, we'll give you enough food and supplies for the night for dinner and such but further arrangements will be talked out in the morning. If that's alright. As you said, there are dangerous gang and my brother and I need to stay safe" Briannah had finally said. Jonathan's face had immediately brightened up as he then began packing up everything they'd laid down before. "You won't regret this, I promise." He'd meant, mainly to the both of them at this point. Briannah had been nervous about who to trust but knew she was being smart. She'd then looked to Niko again. "Sorry about the.. gun. You never know who you can trust these days" Briannah had mumbled, Jonathan only laughing. "Feel lucky, it's not every day she apologizes for putting a gun in someone's face" Jonathan had joked, earning a glare from Briannah who had now stuck out her hand to him. "Sound like a solid deal?" She'd asked, waiting for Niko to accept and lead them to his gang or reject them and for them to have to find somewhere new.

Niko looked at them before he gave a nod then spoke, "Alright. We will take more in the morning." With that he turned away to start walking so that he could lead them back to the gang. Hopefully the others weren't going to freak out....although honestly he hoped that Leti was the one that was awake when they got back, if one of the girls were awake. She was the more level-headed one, not to mention if she accepted them right away then Revy wasn't going to argue. Niko did look over his shoulder then spoke, "We have a deal."

Within the next forty-five minutes they were arriving at the place where he and his gang were camped out. The male gazed around for a brief moment then heard a soft voice from the darkness questioning if it was him. "Yeah its me. Brought some new people." he spoke after a moment in time. Sure enough emerging from the shadows was a dark haired girl....and just by how she stood and seemed to act he knew which one it was. Leti. He hugged her when she ran over.

Leti peered over the male's shoulder at the other two, eyes just taking them in for a second in time. Her lips were pursed together as she studied them, obviously a bit unsure. Could they be trusted? Although it was likely that they thought the same about them. In this day and age nobody could be trusted. "Who else is awake?" Niko questioned after a moment.
"Brandon." was the reply that he got, which had him giving a nod. Alright that worked out then. With that he looked at the other two and gestured for them to follow him so he could introduce them to the others. Leti pranced off ahead, disappearing into the building.

Briannah had only nodded, pulling her hand back as she'd then began to follow him. Jonathan had been paranoid, making sure to be on the look out for those who could attack while Briannah had always just kept herself calm as she'd followed blindly. Briannah had looked over to Jonathan as she was wondering just how much she could trust these people before wiping the thought from her brain. After quite a bit of walking they'd finally approached something that had looked like a hide out, safe from people on the ground. That's when they'd both seen the girl approach, looking her over as they had also looked the place over. They hadn't said anything, having still felt awkward as they'd then followed where the girl had run off to, to meet the rest of the group. Once they'd gotten in the room they'd looked around once again. There had been a few sleeping bags and what had looked like scraps of old food.
Brandon had quickly shot up when he'd noticed the two new people walking in, having been awoken from his sleep by his regular nightmares. "Who are you?" Brandon asked, seeing that Niko had been right behind them. "We'll be joining you for the night, maybe for a short while. We've got food and supplies to help pay our way" Briannah had told him, making sure to let him know she was no enemy and she certainly wasn't a leech. "He probably wanted t know our names" Jonathan had joked as he'd then gotten right into introducing them. "My name is Jonathan and this is my sister Briannah. Don't mind her, she'd a hard ass" Jonathan had joked. Briannah had rolled her eyes but couldn't help a smile. Deep down she was still the happy girl but right now she had to put up a wall. "Well it's nice to meet you Jonathan... Briannah. Hard ass isn't exactly an insult, I think you'll do well around here" Brandon had joked, winking at Briannah who'd been caught off guard and had managed to slyly hide a blush. "You have your own bags?" Brandon had asked as Briannah had nodded, looking to Niko again.

Leti ended up coming back outside shortly after she had gone inside. With that she stood near Brandon just watching them for a short moment. She allowed them to introduce themselves first before she spoke, "I'm Leti. Pleased to meet you." A small smile formed on her lips before she watched as Niko headed inside although she did call out to him, "Don't wake Revy. She can meet them later." This had the male giving a thumbs up, already knowing that it would be a bad idea to do that. With that she looked towards the others and gestured for them to go ahead and follow them inside the building so that they could get out from outside. Least patrols from other gangs come through then they would be in a bit of trouble.
