Time and Dragon Memories- FAZ and Moo

In the time of dragons, riders were special. They were chosen by the flying beasts themselves, allowed only to be with them until their dying day. Same goes for dragon partners. If a dragon pairs up with a ridered dragon they are together for life as well.
Yet... this is a game... or... should be.... one forgets that a few days in to playing.

Other: A a toddler she fell off a cliff and was saved by a dragon who had just learned to fly. Since then they have been together for everything.

Was brought up as a mage... but was kicked out when a murderous dragon stopped an attack on a tower, spun to look at him and bit his shoulder with a burning binding mark. Now a scar of three teeth marks.

Anna stood at the egde of the cliff she fell off as a toddler. The memory long forgotten from her but the stories she held close to her heart as it was the day she met her dragon. Now with armor teal as ice and a sword with a frostbite enchantment she was to find her own path this day.

   She jumped. He blonde hair flairing. He blue eyes watching the icy spires below waiting to take her life. And her smile as she landed on a raising tusk of her dragon. The wind cold against most people but not her. As a raider she had a seat and rains but she had a special connection most raiders dreamed of. Almost telepathic. And it proved better then siting and using the normal tool. It also made it easier for her to fight along side the dragon.

    So didnt look back at her village. He mother told her not to for it was time for her to look to her future. He day to return to the village will come. But for some reason she feels it more to be true feeling as if it has before. Many times over. Like that final jump been done by her this same day and time many times before. Why? Must just be nurves, mind trying to convince her to turn around.

A dip of three scars greeted his face in the mirror as he walked to it.... Oh no.... not another dream.... The face grinning back and dripping blood. Why!? WHY AGAIN?! He didnt do any of the killings! Its the dragons fault! He didnt kill those people.
~Are you SURE, JC... YOU seemed to like it~ came the reflections voice as it stepped through the mirror's surface, singing its sentence as it walked. ~You want to do it again; I know you do... its all here....~


A gasping breath woke the body he usually felt safe in but it did nothing this morning as the deep maroon of his beast's scaly face seemed to grin. Oh the nasty beast knew what he was thinking....
"NOT FAIR YOU NASTY PIECE OF CRAP! No messing around in my dreams! Im not a killer!"
~Says you, Justin.... your mind... thats a different situation, OH so nice!~

(Whateves. Still no clue what kind of dragon you have. And i am not sure about my characters RL yet. I guess i will play that as it comes.)

Anna stood proudly on the tusk of the mighty beast. She watched the land change from what many call an icy wasteland to ocean to a lush green field dotted with villages. She hasnt seen any other dragons since leaving her home. 
   "Maybe you kind is only found at home." She said. Still watching the land with a smile. "Oh i know you said that a million times but come on where are they then?.....okay okay. Dont need to be rude. Lets find one of those market villages. I want to eat. I hope gold and silver will work as to buy it........ya i know. But i will need to find work anyway.......never would i take a job that we would be apart."

((If we go by Dungeon and Dragons looks- Black Dragon- look him up))

Yes, He still had magic from his training but he was never allowed to finish his training. It was Calhoon's fault too.
"You are a dumb bastard of a beast! I didnt need you."
~No, but I wanted you. Buck up kiddo.~ came the black dragons sharp tone as his form took off from the ground; tearing up trees with its gust force.
Many blasts of fire to the things tail and he grumbled his way in to town with the little money he had... time for Meat pie. He MUST stay away from the knives table or that sinking feel would come back.

(Oh you mean a dragon With acid breath not fire)

They finally came to a market village. Landed outside and they walked the rest of the way "oh i hope they dont.....okay i will not say it." When at the gate the gaurds nearly freaked till they saw the sadle and raigns. Then they freaked but not out of fear. 

"Rider. Welcome to our little village. Why would one of your rank came here?" One of them asked.

"Rank? Rider?" Sge questioned then looked at the ice dragon "do you know what they speak of?......no? How odd......of ya maybe asking would be a good....crazy? What?" She then turned back to the gaurds seeing them confused. "Oh now i see. Well we are would like some food. Can be buy some here?" From there the gaurds called someone to escort her around. Shocked at the money she had making strange comments about how lucky riders were.

(Acid breath? um..... sure... yeah, acid sounds good >W> )

Luck for some riders, other... not so much. Food was a buttload expensive- half the stuff was free on the roads! Rare, but free...
He hated his dragon... Why the hell was he even paired up with him, an absent minded rub to the scars and he plucked a few oranges from the stands while the owner was looking away. 
Just because Calhoon was black, the beast had been feared from the start, acid always dripping from his jaws- how he survived the first bite, Justin didnt know. 
~"I hate you, I cant even get a job as air mail!"~ he yelled at the dragon in his head; the puddle he was standing on reflecting the black of the dragons eye.
~I dont know why you insist that, you LOVE the sheep I bring back.~ came its laughing tone

Anna had lots of people crowning her questioning her. Children climbing onto the great breast, or aless trying to. The villagers nearing scaring the girl but the breast keeping her calm.

"False rider" a voice called as a tall man walked up. I know all riders and i dont know you."

" ah well about that. I came from a village that way" she pointed south." Over an ocean. Me and my friend came looking to buy food. And this all happened. I am confused as to what you all....."

The south? That wasteland? Well no wander you confused. Continue north. There you find a city of marble and gold. When you land you figure out where to go. They could use another knight as....." he waved over outfit." You seem to be" 


Confused she bowed and then turned to the beast" what you think?...yes then we will....oh ya." She turned around and almost like she was embarrassed said "i nearly forgot. Can we buy more food for the trip?"

((I just meant looks))

A step frozen in time as he heard 'FALSE RIDER' ring out through a crowded section of the market. No, he couldnt have been caught as a rider.... he hadnt even let  Calhoon be seen! Fingers flared to life with fire just in case... but that was when he saw the icy blue dragon stick her nose high then hide something.... 
Oh, that rider... not him....
~"I need an escape now......"~
~Of course you do... how else would you get out of sticky messes?~ came the sneered response of his dragon. 

All he got a warning of was the hissing sound of a bolt of acid hurtling through the sky as Calhoon streaked by, blowing up a nearby roof.
"NOT LIKE THAT YOU DOLT!!!!! THERE IS A KNIGHTED RIDER HERE!!!!!" he yelled and took off, out of the city before a face could be recognized

The icy beast froze the flame solid. Everyone still screaming. Anna now on the tusk again high in the sky. Nearly nipping the other dragons tail. 

"Your open sky make flying easy.....no dont attack. It may have been an accident. .....a game? Wait no aguring right now. NOW PLEASE SLOW DOWN SO WE CAN TALK. WHAT HAPPENED BACK THERE?"

A roar as he swung his head and Calhoon was spitting more acid bolts at the other dragon. He heard what they asked... But it wasn't like he could answer, his rider still on the ground far behind him.
A quick spiral up and he vanished in to the clouds, swimming through the dark insides then diving away behind the blue.
Justin had sorta been caught but with arms up, the black dragon had surrounded his rider with claws and was gone in one wing beat
~Admit it, rider- you like the get aways~
"F You Calhoon..." Justin growled as he crawled up scales in the rushing wind. "Go to the mines, find a hiding hole there."

"Oh now where did he go?......ya maybe one day.......ya let's go get that food and head to the city......oh you saw that too? It was odd that the man blinked in and out like that. ......ya i dont think thevillagers saw it." Anna said as they had lost the black dragon. Now flying back to town she kind of Wondered start was in the city and if you could even make it for a day ina city.

(confused on that last sentence...o0) ((You can do the dragons thoughts too if you want.))

It was the loud barking calls of Calhoon that woke the rider up. "What are you doing?!" he yelled to the black beast, getting a pool of acid spat at his feet.... the dragon's eye's a lot more... nastier then he remembered- then the noise continued. "CALHOON!!!"
Acid spit again landed on his arm as he was over powered with a tail flick and it was a tongue biting that had him not screaming.
~THIS IS MY HOARD! YOU ARE A PART OF IT! SHUT UP! I WANT A MATE AND YOU STOPPING MY CALLS IS STOPPING THAT!~ the black beast almost squishing his legs before he turned around and continued calling out.
They had taken this diamond mine with ease and the first thing that the black dragon had done was start digging out his hoard.

(MaAs part of the fragments....i know. I just like this better. Mostly because by DnD lore dragons can learn common)


Anna and her dragon were now far from the village. Now sitting in the sadle where it is more comfortable. "Ah so far to this city. And we are so far up can barely tell villages from the rest of the ground."

(But we aren't doing D&D.... I was just using the looks as an example---- also Calhoon is calling out... Perhaps miss blue dragon wants to return the calls? Did you know lion calls can be heard for miles?  )

For days all Justin heard was the horrible barking roars... Chuffs like a lion. It hurt when it was right in his ear. The black dragon wasn't even listening any more, even going all out to block his exit. He was a hoard trophy but he was also starving! Those oranges barely lasted him an hour!

"You alright?.....a call? From.....that other dragon? Where? Should we go?" Anna asked but no more words came just a long roar.


"Dont temp me. I will cut you to size. You harmed many and i didnt like that." The beast called out and then refused to call back to anything else. Just flow faster.

Surprised she knew the tone just herself, Calhoon shut up, finally looked to his rider and grabbed a mouth of gem. ~We fly now, get on.~
A growlly starved Justin obeyed with a small blink- too drone like to respond much as his dragon took off out of the mine hoard. He would get that teal one! He would get just her! Ignoring the calls from un ridered Dragons below, he was taking scent in from her fading trail.

Just before sundown they landed in the city. Bigger then they thought. Dragons all over the place, a few with riders, but most wild. The white of the marble nearly blinding. So clean looking. So aw inspiring. It made Anna for out of place and a little uncomfortable. But no longer then it took or to unmount another man landed next to her.

"What do you wish of this place, as you seem to be new." The man asked with a harsh voice, almost theating

"Me and my friend here were told to come here. Something do with with being called a rider i believe. Right?" She turned to hear dragon. "....ah right thank you i forgot." Turning back to the man now looking confused "a tall man in a market village called me a false rider."

"Ah well you ride a dragon but never got the rights to? This is troubling. Follow me. Then took up. Anna climbed onto her breast tusk and they were off. Right be him to the tallest building they ever seen. With riders landing and taking off from many different platforms. A base of some kinf or ever a guild. This excited Anna to unbelievable levels but scared her more.

It was a final stop that had Justin rolling off Calhoon and rushing for the nearest fruit tree he saw- an apple
A hiss from the black and the beast was lashing his tail as more then one dragon land and watch him. There was trouble brewing with him being there. ~I found her.... But she's in the walls. I WANT HER.~ came his snort as he dropped acid spit.

It took about two hours but when all done she had signed up for some quick test in the morning to start working as one of the riders she had just learned of. Something to do with protection of a small group of villages and some other things she didnt completely understand it all but it gave her a chance to have sone kind of adventure. So just went to bed early laying with her dragon.

The next morning she was up early but we'll rested. After eating she met up with another rider. This one a dark skinned female with a red dragon. She seemed very serious and were out to the training grounds without much talking. It took about an hour to get to them in the mountains outside the city.
