GA-the hidden soldier-Fluffy

Spencer just blinked and gave a small shake of her head. What on earth had she done to get this demon to seem so.... protective of her? It seemed that already not even being around for long and she was getting that special treatment it seemed. God this made her pray that they never found out she was a female....it would get so much worse. If they didn't turn her over to their Commander.

Spencer was his normal snuggle partner due to no pillows and 'tent cut backs'.... Not really though, the boys just keep forgetting to grab him one. Oh well... It was now though that Matt needed said snuggle moment.... But didn't call him. He wasn't needy.... Not really.... Maybe he was.... But he knew better then to try anything funny with him... He was just a kid.

Spencer sat outside of the tent for a while, just staring up at the sky for a brief while. It wasn't long before she was getting up to go over and see how Alec was doing.

When the mission was finally over the group was finally allowed to head home and relax for a while. They were able to relax for about two weeks without something coming up where they had to leave. Although now things were about to change since they were getting a call. Another mission. Spencer had been sitting in bed reading a book when her phone rang which had her answering it. A commanding officer stating that there was a meeting for their team and everybody was to be present. This had her putting a bookmark in the page before she got up and changed out of her pajamas. Since they were able to return home, she had gone to stay at her apartment in town. Not like that wasn't allowed. Now she was back at the base waiting for their new mission.

Two weeks.... Two weeks of being blasted, bombed and shot at like target practice... Matt rather be jumping off the dam... though it was gone. A growl to a shot in the head and he facd the shooter- a new recruit just out of high school... "Dont close your eyes, idiot! I could tell with my back turned!" he critiqued... Yes Spencer would stop in a few times, but never stay... damn.... missed the tent nights. Oh well.
"MATT! Office now!!"
"I havent killed anyone! What do they want!?" he yelled back 
"JUST GET IN HERE YOU DUNCE!" This was Justin... Oh Whole team time.

Spencer walked up to the place and just examined it for a moment. Yes she could have stayed but she choose not to. Not like it would have mattered anyways. She stopped in now and again, stayed for a few hours then ended up going back home. She walked in just as Justin and Matt were yelling at one another, which had her giving a slight chuckle. The female went off into the office where the others were at, along with their commander.

"We have no time to dwaddle." The officer said as he whacked Matt and Justin each upside the head. A bear like growl from both men. "There has been movement spotted in Witchervale Scotland. Small place, not known for terrorism but you can never be sure. Last month, a crew was sent out... we havent heard back from them. Find them and bring them home- kill in your way."

Spencer leaned against a wall and listened to what the officer was saying, a smirk on her lips when he got growled at. Oh that is what he got for whacking them upside the head. At least it was only a growl though. "Oh Scotland. Sounds lovely." the female remarked after a moment in time. A rescue mission huh. Well the boys were going to have fun with that especially since they had the okay to kill whoever got in their way.

"Not the nice Scotland you are thinking of, Carmicheal. Witchervale is in the Mountains... Slummy and cold. Wear muck boots. That's all." The man said before leaving the map of Scotland up with the town circled.
"Damn mountains... Lousy for being a demon... Too close to heaven." Matt grumbled, nearly unheard.
"Scotland..... Not sure I've been there yet." Justin poked the pin to where their camp would be and turned to the twins. 
"We've never gone. We only ever have traveled with you guys. Should be a trip."
"I grew up next to the country... Had fur only then." Doc scratched his head and patted the twins on the head. Get all the tents this time, Rue. We want a gear protection. Markus, grab as much winter gear for all of us. And muck boots."
A twin YEP and they scattered away.

(Did you know Scotland has mountains????? I thought it was just flat or a little hilly. 00....)

Spencer gave a slight shrug before she spoke, "Ehhh. Scotland is Scotland all the same. And if this is a rescue mission, I doubt it is going to be that simple as to where this team actually is." A valid point. For all they knew, while this location was their last known location....that didn't quite mean that they were still there. Which would make things beyond difficult. With that she watched as the twins headed off to go and get the stuff that they needed. With that she pushed off of the wall to walk over to the others and peer at the map for a moment in time. This was going to be.... interesting nonetheless.

Justin nodded, let the human look at the map a minute before rolling it up and handing it to the demon. "Pocket space this please." He asked and left. A gruff sound and the map was gone. 
"I had gotten bored last week, gave everyone a spot in the pocket space. Need to store anything?" Matt blocked the kid from leaving... A hug would move him. "There's that funky smell again.... You get it once a month..." He mentioned and rubbed his nose.
Much better since the dam but he was still wary now about loosing Spencer to the snake man again

Spencer studied the map then watched as it was rolled up and handed to Matt to put in a pocket space. There came a comment from Matt of how he had gotten bored and made a spot in the pocket space for everybody. "Not right now. Thanks though." Spencer spoke although blinked a bit when her way was blocked by Matt. Easy enough to fix, a hug. That is how it always was. Although the female didn't reply to the comment of funky smell and how she got it once a month. Yeah her period had started a few days ago. Thank god the cramps were done and over with. "Don't worry about it. I'm fine." she spoke with a light smile. 
Well somewhat fine anyways. She had had an interesting encounter with her ex while she had been at home. Somehow the man had found out where she was living and decided to pay a visit. Hence the few bruises hidden by her clothing. Although he was far worse than she was. Hey after a while a person says enough and defends themselves. She had bruises.....he had a broken nose. And she wasn't even getting into trouble. Self-defense was awesome.

A bit of a hug back and he left the kid at the door way. "Coming? We aint gonna pack your shit for you." he called with a tease, a black eyed blink and the human; what was left anyway; was running down the trails to the barracks. 
Spencer should really ask... bet he's itching to know about the person she's keeping sane... well... part sane.

Spencer couldn't help but blink for a moment. What on earth had just happened there? And of course the others weren't going to pack her stuff for her. That she could do on her own, she would do it on her own. With that she was heading off to the barracks to get her stuff together. Although she was wondering about Matt, exactly what he was. It was obvious that he wasn't completely demon.

Well he was demon.. all demon... just.. a special branch of it. Normally demons are black smoke after their human form dies.... They can possess a body though. Normally- some sap just in the way, other times purposefully selected. Never was there a case before Matts though where the demon was in its own body.

He was packed, always was. Pocket space packing made wonderful suitcases.

It didn't take Spencer very long to pack and soon enough she was heading out to where the others were carrying her bag on her back. Not that she had a problem with carrying it at that point in time.

Long drive and even longer flight later, the team was in Scotland. Justin was giving commands to the few native soldiers that met them at the base and they gave them a few rides; Twins with Doc and Alec, Justin with the other two.
"Matt, try not to go black eyed here... please... There was something the boss only mentioned to me and Doc.."
"Spit it out, bear."
"Its not salted land... but there is a bunch of churches..."
"......Grrrreeeaaatttt....."

The drive was long, the flight even longer.....but after what seemed like forever they were finally in Scotland. Scarlet merely listened as commands were given by Justin before she turned her attention towards what Justin was telling Matt, about the churches. This reminded her of what the snake had said.

"Is there anywhere NOT on Holy ground?" Matt asked as he took a map from the glove box, leaning over Spencer's shoulder to reach it. Nope, he didnt care for seatbelts when on the dirt. Well that or personal space- hope her binder was secure.
"Wintervale has 6 around.... A lot will be Holy... just dont go Black Eyed and you wont burn."

Spencer just listened to the conversation although she didn't say anything, was more thinking to herself. Was what the snake man had said suppose to be an omen to what was happening now? With that she spoke, "So this is more or less a retrieval mission."

"Yes. With the chance to kill if need be. The boys will get you a nest ready and show you it when set up. Just keep Matt out of the town..."
"I'm still here..."
"Make sure he doesn't Black Eye... It's been happening a lot."

Spencer listened to what was being said before she gave a nod then spoke, "I'll try my best." Although she wasn't sure if that would be overly hard.... the male seemed to like her quite a bit. It was almost as if deep down inside he knew that she was different....although couldn't quite place how different.

Or could be super gay! Not the case about him but you never know. A sunken seat growl as he read the map and it remained the rest of the ride.
They had barely stopped and he was already feeling the repelling wards take affect. "Stupid Scottish spells."
"Really? You are blaming Scotland for this stuff?"
"Yes, they made the stupid runes that the hunters use."
"Oh... Well hug your Spencer if it helps...."

Spencer just gave a slight chuckle as she settled back in her seat watching out the window as they traveled. Although she did tilt her head after a while when Matt mentioned repelling wards. Of course she wouldn't feel them, she wasn't a supernatural. Although she was curious almost what they were feeling. Not that it was important. "Settle. I'm sure you'll get to take that anger out on somebody. I'm sure we'll run into plenty of people that will get in our way." she spoke with a slight shrug.
